Who We Are

The Mercer Maniacs began several years ago as the Hoffman's Hooligans. A group of spirited students that cheered on the men's basketball team on the front rows of the student section. Often the group would paint up and get loud during games while keeping it classy. The spirit group has now expanded to include support for all sports throughout the year.

How to Join

All Mercer students are considered Mercer Maniacs but you can also become involved with the organization by showing up to games and participating in the cheers and chants on a regular basis. All students are invited to attend our monthly general member meetings. Members can assist with event planning and set-up, marketing and game time spirit. Check us out on Instagram (@mercermaniacs).
