Family Weekend

First Year Fall Family Day

Parents in Car

First-Year Parents: Mark the date on your calendars and join your student for a wonderful day on campus and in Macon!

October 24, 2020

Every year, Mercer University plans a weekend for families of our students to visit our beautiful campus and experience a day in the life of their student(s). This year, due to the current pandemic, Mercer is offering a one day experience for families of first year students. The full schedule for Saturday, October 24 will be available soon. Registration is recommended. There will be no registration cost for this year's event. T-shirts and barbecue tickets can be purchased October 24 on campus. We will ask that you give us a head count on the registration form so we can order the right number of meals and t-shirts.

For more information please contact Campus Life at (478) 301-2868 or campuslife@mercer.edu.

*All visitors and guests attending Family Day will be required to follow specific COVID-19 health and safety policies to help protect our students, faculty, staff, and visitors, which include the use of face coverings and social distancing while on campus. All event attendees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms or exposure at check-in, and the University retains the right to turn away, at its discretion, anyone suspected of being symptomatic and/or exposed to COVID-19. No visitors will be permitted in the residence halls at any time during this event.

Though the university will take steps to mitigate possible exposure, please keep in mind that this is a volunteer activity and family members attending the event do so at their own risk. Individuals who are in high-risk populations for COVID-19 are encouraged to thoroughly evaluate their situations before choosing to attend this event.
